Our Story
From Maegan's Point of View:
Our story started one summer night at a barbecue restaurant. I was sitting with some of my friends when Walker came up and introduced himself and sat in an open seat at my table. I was thinking that Walker was a little overconfident, but we spent the whole night talking and laughing and even swingdancing in the restaurant. My friends and I went to play pool with Walker and his friends, and Walker insisted that we be on a team together even though I am the worst pool player there is. Somehow we won a few rounds, and we ended the night not sure when we'd see each other again. The next day, Walker gave me a call and asked me on a date. I was so giddy and nervous when the day finally came and Walker picked me up for our first date at Amsterdam Cafe in Auburn. We had the BEST time talking and learning more about each other that we decided to keep the night going after dinner by going to get a drink at the Collegiate Hotel down the street. We continued laughing and talking until we were the last people there before they closed for the night. When the night was over, I knew that Walker was special and that I couldn't wait to see him again. It wasn't long until I knew that I loved Walker and we began dreaming about a future together. I have learned so much about Walker, myself, and the Lord's faithfulness during our time together. I cannot wait to see how the Lord continues to teach and grow Walker and I during this next season of life as we strive to honor and glorify God in all that we do.
